COVID Parent Letter 2/2/21

Dear CC-V Families, February 2, 2021
It never feels good, for anyone, when we are forced to transition to remote
learning. It is incredibly important that our students, families and community
members know that we do not take these decisions lightly. We also understand
how these decisions are negatively impacting our students’ well-being, education
and our families’ jobs and schedules. That being said, as long as COVID remains a
part of our lives, we cannot predict what will happen next.
We use Infinite Campus to alert families of changes. You will receive an email, text
and phone notification. If you do not receive notifications from CC-V, please let us
know immediately so we can update your contact information.
Even during remote learning, families should still notify our School Nurse, Laureen
Murray, at, if anyone in the household is experiencing
symptoms, been in close contact with a positive case or has tested positive.
We will continue to offer transportation for our students in Special Education. We
are STILL in need of bus drivers- if you know anyone who is interested in driving
for CC-V, please have them contact and complete an
online application.
Please contact your child’s teacher if you have questions regarding their
classes/school work.
As of now, we will continue spring sports. Practices will still happen after school
and games are still scheduled. Please check the website for changes to the game
schedule, as it changes often.
Students on IEPs are welcome to attend school, in person, all four days a week. If
you have concerns about your child attending school in-person, please contact
Arika Zittlosen at
If you are in need of technology support you may start a support ticket by emailing, with a description of the issue and what you have tried to do to
solve the problem.
We currently have a hotspot set up in Victor in the Elk’s Lodge and can be accessed
from the parking lot. The password is “GoPioneers!” You are also able to access the
wifi from the lower parking lot of the high school building if you park on the
concrete pad next to the building. The network is called Student and the password
is “donkey12”.

Any family in need of a food box during remote learning days, can contact our Food
Service Director, Patricia Bayne via email at Include your
name, address and number of children in the household age 0-18 in the email.
